Notice To Control Noxious Weeds
Notice is hereby given to each and every person in the Town of East Troy, who owns, occupies or controls land to cut or destroy all noxious weeds as defined but not limited to those species defined by Wisconsin Statutes as the following: PIGWEED, CHICORY, GOLDENROD, GREAT BURDOCK, CURLED DOCK, RAGWEED, QUEEN ANNE’S LACE, JIMSON, BULLTHISTLE, WILD MUSTARD, COMMON PRIMROSE, WHITE CHAMPIONS, MARIJUANA OR HEMP OR ANY OTHER THISTLE DEEMED NOXIOUS by the Town Weed Commissioner. This must be done at such time and manner to prevent them from bearing seed and spreading to adjoining property, as required by Section 66.0407 of Wisconsin Statutes. All weeds and grass shall be kept cut to a height not to exceed one foot.
